McAfee ePO Certificate Error

The ePO (known as ePolicy orchestrator) is a centralized platform for all browser security system. ePolicy orchestrator easily integrates itself with your systems’ Windows defender. It simplifies and enhances your internet security issues along keeping your workflows in streamline. McAfee certificates validate under ePolicy Orchestrator.
In the default condition, ePO uses his own approved certificates for log on to the browser. It stores that certificate in the folder name as server.keystore.
Server.xml file Stores Two Things:
  • keystore file location (Keystorefile=”Keystore / filename”) and
  • keystore password (Keystorepass=” xxxxxx”)
If the above-mentioned file data is manipulated or modified by new data. The server points to servers file and then to Keystore file and when you use your browser, the browser automatically uploads the wrong certification. It will show a McAfee Certificate error and restrict the browser from connecting.
